TrimQ Privacy Policy
TrimQ helps customers discover barber shops and join queues, and helps barbers manage shop details, services, and waiting customers.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use TrimQ, we may collect:
- Phone number for sign-in and account verification through Firebase Authentication.
- Profile and shop information that barbers choose to provide, such as name, shop name, address, opening status, and service list.
- Queue and booking-related information needed to let customers join a queue and let barbers manage it.
- Approximate or precise location only when you allow it, so the app can help show nearby shops or set a shop location.
- Photos only when a barber chooses to upload a shop or profile image.
2. How we use information
- To create and secure your TrimQ account.
- To let customers discover barber shops and join queues.
- To let barbers create and manage shops, services, and queue activity.
- To improve reliability, prevent abuse, and provide support.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is only shared with service providers needed to run the app, such as Google Firebase for authentication and database hosting.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored using cloud services operated by Google Firebase. We use reasonable technical measures to protect account and app data in transit and at rest, but no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
5. Your choices
You can choose whether to grant location or photo access from your device settings. If you do not grant these permissions, some features may not work fully.
If you want your account or associated data deleted, email pykancha@gmail.com from your registered contact details and mention your TrimQ phone number. We will process reasonable deletion requests in line with applicable law and operational requirements.
6. Children's privacy
TrimQ is not directed to children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
